What makes up a good love story, a good relationship, a good broken relationship?
Have you always wanted to tell a personal story, but you don't know where to start? Want to win the MOTH, a story slam, or just get it out of your chest and on to the page? Christopher Rivas will help you transform your heart breaks, bad blind dates and visits from unruly parents into insightful, compelling revelations. He'll show you how to make your story relatable and tantalizing to readers, listeners and editors.

Hosted by Christopher Rivas, an international performer and championship storyteller who has developed a signature style of powerful-joyous-sexy storytelling, and he's the founder of LifestyleDeZine.

Rivas has fallen in love and dedicated my life to the power of personal stories and personal truths. The truth that we are greater, we take up space, we matter. Through our personal stories we begin to take ownership of each and every moment, destroying the myth that we are just another cog in the wheel. In his workshops, participants are asked to consider what it would mean to live in a society where this personal truth is seen and valued as the conduit for community healing and health.

Check in begins at 12:30pm

Guests are free to wander the museum before the workshop.
Students will be asked for their student ID at check in.
